To celebrate I'll try to make a good and polished song with it by chucking some Sytrus, TS404, OscX, various effects and what not.

To all of you that heard my music and gave it such awesome scores and to those who gave me such useful and/or supportive reviews. Thank you.

Having one of my songs in the top 50 miscellaneous is quite satisfying to see (especially since the scores there are impressively high!). I know it won't last long, but as long as I know that it WAS there is enough for now. It's good to see that once in a while I come up with a musical idea that turns out to be ok. It gives me the incentive to improve and make something better than the previous creation.

Lol... don't worry, I don't consider myself an artist. It would be insulting to the real ones out there in NG. The ones that with their music kidnap your soul and make it take an emotional ride for a few minutes.

For now all I can do is thank you once more and try to make something even better next time.

Oh Stalagmite, if by chance you'll read this I'll try and do the "homework" you gave me here, lol. Maybe not in these two-three weeks because the presentation of my thesis is approaching real fast, but as soon as possible.

Is it best to make an honest opinion, a diplomatic opinion, a suck-up opinion or no opinion at all?

I usually go for the first option, but sometimes notice that some artists simply get pissed off if you even dare comment on one of their creations (like some sort of over-protective mother).

Yes, I do agree that a good song requires a lot of effort and time, and that some people might get really upset that all their work turns into a 3/5 score, but it doesn't necessarily mean that if you took a month to make song it will become an all-time-top-scoring song. I mean, an honest opinion might help an artist understand what he/she should focus on in order to evolve to something even better, but that could be just my way of thinking.

How do you guys review a song? Any suggestions?

Couldn't agree more... I mean, cmon Bill, it's already hard enough to figure out that you're a guy. This makes things even more confusing!

WOOT! After my song left the new submissions I checked and my Campioni del Mondo 2006 got FIVE 5/5 votes and SEVEN downloads!!

I sware that I didn't vote myself (that's just stupid) and I'm quite surprised it got that score.

Obviously this won't last more than a couple of hours, but I'm still VERY happy that some people appreciated. THANKS!

If the following black cross on a red background is seen on one of my songs you should probably avoid listening to it.

There should be 4 to 6 more submittions to go (therefore, 3 more uploading days). At that point I will stop submitting my 2006-2007 creations and will start making + submitting new ones this year (2009) at a MUCH SLOWER rate than in these plentiful days.

Hopefully, they should be better, so keep an eye on this account once in a while. I'll manage to place a note (with my SFaPiL account) in the NG Home page if I'll manage to upload something.

I'll also try to keep you guys up-to-date on what I'm creating.

Uhm... lol, this was unexpected. I got in the top 5 rank for the Miscellaneous genre for this song:

Blood Red

I even got a review praising it and someone added it to his/her favourites! I think I didn't grasp something important in this song.

The embarassing part is that this song in particular was not so creative. I guess I should focus on dark music ;o).
