That wind in the background...
...it sounds like Gaia breathing. So beautiful... so peaceful... so ethereal. Both of the guitars are pretty harmonious and work well together. Surprisingly the soft sounds of your guitar don't clash with the metallic ones of your bro. *sigh*... how peaceful...
However, from 2:24-end sounded like a totally different song... it kind of abruptly shook away all the pictures I had in my mind. In this part, your little bro disappeared and so did that whole low-tone mood he was casting (say good job to your bro from my part, ok? ^__^). Yes yes... it sounds soothing and all, but... I don't know... it seemed to interrupt more than aid "the drifting".
Anyway, the overall (especially the first part) was superb. Your stuff was already beautiful without any special effects and I was already expecting that the day you would've added more to your compositions would've come with a bang. You didn't let me down. The scary part is... it's still very minimalistic in terms of effects and layers so who knows what awesome stuff is yet to come when you'll focus on that!
Anyway, call me crazy, but it's been a day and half or so that I've been thinking how both you and Stalagmite are really good at conveying an eternal tranquility in your songs... I wonder how it would sound combined... both the piano and the guitar are two very powerful instruments and under both of your hands, well... it's magic. Do you think that it'll ever happen?
Oh well, got to go now. Take care.
